...If I say the name Nick Sanders to you, you will probably have never heard of him.
...But let me tell you ladies and gentleman, Nick Sanders is one of the pioneers in round the world cycling. In 1986 on a 40lbs bike, Nick managed to cycle 13000 miles around the world in 79 days. That included all flight times and delayed ferries etc. What an achievement.
It was his attempt that made me realise what is actually humanly possible which made it even more special when he came to my stand to say hello. I'm usually not bothered with photos of me with people but this time it just HAD to be done. It's nice to see that crazy hair is a running theme with both of us.
