Things Are Getting Tough

23 March 2012

This is starting to get tough now. I'm not sure if its fatigue or just that I am pushing too hard but getting up each morning is a lot harder than normal.

I have also lost feeling in both pinky fingers and my legs are seizing up every time I stop, even if just to read my map. The other problem is just where to go. Up to now I have had my route planned. Here I have the option to go anywhere. This sounds good but every time I take one road and hit a hill I then wish I had taken the other one.

Food is plentiful but a little on unhealthy side. . . Wait. A lot on the unhealthy. A least there is food I guess.

Money. This place is also killing my budget. You don't get much change from $100 per day - including motel. I have camped a few times but find I don't sleep well and suffer the next day.

Other than that I am averaging around 180 miles per day so not too bad.

Over and out.
