When Sean approached uSwitch to help support his ambition of breaking the world record for cycling around the earth, we were thrilled to get involved. We're keen to extend this reach and champion sustainable forms of energy in some of the world's poorer countries, where the effects will really be felt. 1.6 billion people in the world have no access to electricity. Many of these people live in countries with high levels of sunshine, making solar power an effective, long-lasting solution. So when it came to deciding which charity Sean should raise money for, Solar Aid was the perfect choice.
